Displaying the Edit Type Dialog

What do I need to include/call in order to get the Edit Type dialog box, normally accessed via Edit menu->Types option->select type->Edit button, to appear when someone presses a specific button on my home-grown dialog box?

And in that call, can I pass it something (AttrType or string name) to work with?

I've had a look through the lib/standard scripts but many are encrypted and without knowing the script name I'm looking for I face a difficult search. I dont want to change its function in any way - I just don't want to write my own Edit Type function.

Many thanks.

Try:

#include <standard/column/showColsAttrTypesDialog.dxl>
  SetupMainDialog(ATTRIBUTES_TAB)

  SetupMainDialog(ATTRIBUTES_TAB)

Thanks for the suggestion. That shows the Columns/Attributes/Types dialog, with the Attributes tab selected. I've changed ATTRIBUTES_TAB to TYPES_TAB and got the types tab selected.

Do you know if I can go the final step - as if I picked a specific type from the Types tab and pressed Edit... so that the Edit Type window appears? If not, then this is a good compromise.

Thanks again.
